Keeping an Eye on the (International) Competition?
Of course, as an eBay seller you are always keeping an eye on your competition. You probably know the dominant sellers in your categories. Just remember that with the new International Visibility Upgrade you may begin seeing some new competition on eBay.com. In the U.S., we have the option of taking advantage of the new International Listing Upgrade but then, of course, competitors in the U.K. now also have the ability to market their wares to U.S. buyers.
If you sell items that have a high return rate of customers, you probably have a few “bad eggs” on your blocked bidder list. Going into a new international market means that you are exposed to the bad buyers in that country now. One suggestion I have to help is that you identify the dominant sellers in the U.K. who sell the same product as you and check their feedback. If they seem to be a “good” seller, then I would recommend you check out the bidders who have left negative feedback for the seller because you may determine, based on their current feedback, that they are worth blocking. You want to get your money’s worth out of the new international listing upgrade but you don’t just want access to more buyers, you want access to more GOOD buyers.

Never EVER would have thought of that! Good point. Thanks
