Amazon will soon Require Sellers to Give Detailed Shipping Information for Expedited Shipments
Amazon recently announced that beginning next month all sellers will be required to input specific information for buyers who request Expedited, Next-Day, or 2nd-Day shipment. Buyers who pay for these shipping services want to be able to track their packages.
Beginning early September, all Amazon 3rd party sellers will be required to input the tracking ID, carrier name, and ship method for buyers who request the faster shipping methods. Sellers who do not provide this detailed shipping information will not receive payment for the shipments.

Quite crazy, we ship over 400 items a day 7 days a week (yes inc Sundays)..the time required to do this is massive; or in simple terms we need to employ some one just to do this daily…a huge slice of profit (will put Amazon fees etc to around 35% of the selling price?????)

I am not sure what carrier you use and/or what shipping programs you use but there are ways to have the information automatically updated in Amazon when you print a shipping label.
