eBay Seller Special: Nov 7-22 Save 50% on Auction Insertion Fees

From November 7th through November 22nd, eBay is offering 50% off insertion fees for auction-style listings. Of course there is “the fine print” which includes:
1. Only sellers who have 4.5 or greater DSR averages in all 4 categories for 12 months are eligible for the sale price.
2. The sale price on insertion fees is applicable only after you have used your 5 free listings.
3. Not all categories will receive the promotional pricing. Only Art, Antiques, Dolls & Bears, Toys & Hobbies, Pottery & Glass, Collectibles and Stamps categories are eligible for the 50% off insertion fee sale.

Brew,
I use Blackthorne only to list so I never get the 5 free and I received the promotional rate today so it applies to all listers for the categories that are listed.

Yes, Bill, you are correct. But for anyone not using a listing tool like Blackthorne, the promotional rate would not kick in UNTIL the 5 free listings are used up. I should have been more specific. Thanks for the clarification.

Be sure to do the eBay math and pick your items carefully before listing your five ‘free listings’. Handy spreadsheets can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/lb57eg

eBay’s sale on collectible auction listings is showing a belated awareness that they have lost most of their sales in Art, Antiques and Collectibles – and maybe this was not such a bright idea. No more put downs about a “flea market atmosphere,” I notice.
eBay management will be enshrined in history right next to GM management of the 70s and 80s for cluelessness.
