What is amazing i staht when you try and use a PayPal Debit card on a site that accepts PayPal, you can not use the card

And by NOT having this requirement on ebay, perhaps forcing peeps back to ebay in the true monopolistic style that we’ve grown accustomed to?

Guess that ends Paypal on my website. I don’t publish my address since I sell from home and live alone. That’s inviting trouble.

“This provision applies to U.S. sellers but some countries do allow merchants to add a surcharge if it is disclosed in advance. But this is strictly forbidden in the U.S.

Additionally, sellers cannot in any way try to discourage buyers from using credit card funded PayPal payments.”

I love that – sellers don’t want people to use Credit Cards through Paypal because they have a higher percentage and transaction fees than if you had the machine to swipe the card.

I think I will just discourage anyone using PayPal for Credit Card transactions and use my own system for such.

Here lately, Paypal has been wiggling their way out of my business one transaction at at time.
